Georgia LLC Annual Registration (Annual Report)
Every Georgia LLC must file an Annual Registration and pay a $50 fee each year. This obligation begins in the year following the formation of your LLC.
What is the Georgia LLC Annual Registration?
One of the most important filings needed to keep your LLC in good standing with the state is the Georgia LLC Annual Registration.
This filing modifies key business data, including your registered agent details and principal office address.
LLCs must maintain Good Standing with the state by maintaining current records of all pertinent information to be considered compliant in Georgia. This involves keeping up-to-date records on the registered agent and principal address of your LLC.
This data is gathered yearly by the Georgia Secretary of State Corporations Division using the LLC Annual Registration form.
✎ Note:
While some states refer to this filing as the Annual Report or Annual Renewal, Georgia uses the term Annual Registration. These terms are essentially the same, and we may use them interchangeably.

We recommend filing online as itâs faster and more cost-effective. Filing by mail incurs an additional $10 fee.
What is the Georgia Annual Report filing process?
The process for filing your Georgia Annual Report may vary based on:
- Whether you need to update any of your LLC's contact information with the Secretary of State, and

If your LLC's information hasn't changed from the previous year and your LLC is current on its fees, the filing process will be faster.
