Do I need to file both forms?
Every Maryland LLC is required to file an Annual Report.
Additionally, your Maryland LLC must submit a Personal Property Tax Return if:
- The LLC owns, uses, or leases personal property within Maryland, or
- The LLC holds a trader’s license with a local government entity in Maryland.
Filing Fee
The Annual Report fee is $300.
However, you might incur additional charges based on your LLC's Personal Property Tax Return.
Due Date
The Annual Report must be submitted by April 15th each year.
For your LLC, the first Annual Report is due in the year following the approval of your LLC.
For instance, if your LLC is approved at any point in 2023, the first Annual Report is due by April 15, 2024. If your LLC is approved in 2024, the first Annual Report will be due by April 15, 2025.
